The food processor can handle a variety of ingredients, with maximum capacities of 12 cups for dry ingredients like crackers or nuts, 3 pounds for vegetables or fruits, 40 ounces for cheese like Parmesan or Cheddar, 8 cups for thick sauces or dips, and 7 cups for liquids such as marinades or soups.

If the unit doesn't operate on any speed or pulse, there are a few things to check: is the unit plugged in, does the outlet work, and is the lid latched in place? The large food pusher must be in the chute for the processor to operate, and the food chute should not be overfilled. If the processed food is not sliced or shredded uniformly, it may be due to packing too much food in the chute or pushing too hard on the food pusher. A burning smell during initial use is normal and will go away, but if a strong odor or visible smoke appears, unplug the unit immediately and call customer service.
